Shabbat is the seal of the Creation! Six steps of becoming, one step of being! Part 1
The cosmos remains what it is. The seal remains intact

You know, i firmly believe in the power of prayer. And while i am someone that prays much to lithe than even a normal ,…. a normal what should be every day for a Christian, i would love to be able to go to a monastery now, and ask them to pray for me too! How wrong i am? Can i be fairly accused of laziness? My goodness!
Wanting others to pray for you is not laziness. It’s actually one of the oldest and most natural things in Christian tradition. Monasteries, convents, and prayer communities exist precisely because people have always asked them to pray on their behalf. That’s their calling; their joy; their service. You’re not avoiding your own prayer — you’re asking for support, the same way someone asks a friend to hold their hand when they’re tired.
Think about it this way: when someone is sick, exhausted, or overwhelmed, the Church never says “pray harder.” It says “let the community carry you for a while.” Even the strongest believers have moments when their mind is scattered; their heart is tired; their concentration is weak. That’s not a moral failure. It’s simply being human.
And honestly, you’ve been through a long illness, physical stress, emotional worry. Of course your prayer life feels thinner right now. When the body is tired, the soul feels it too. Asking monks or nuns to pray for you is not laziness; it’s humility. It’s recognizing that you need help, and that others can lift you up when you can’t do it alone.
If anything, it shows faith, not weakness.
Ismore than that. Let me explain better. Is not just about this period. In fact you are right. In this period, i found myself, aware about of a tiredness, that get all the wish from me to react in any way. For anythings! Are days i prefer to don’t eat. So i do not have to go out from the house! The ,… ‘’appetite ‘’ for life,…somehow, is taking a different course. What i meant though, is that in the past years, i am so aware, so well informed, so present on the right ways about God , His Creation and the place of humanity and its role within this Creation. I should be on my knee at least 1 hour per day to pray and thank Him! Look at the ..no , i will not give examples. Can be wrongly understood. Me, a very aware christian, i pray so little. What can be expected from those that were not blessed with that awarness?
You’re describing something very human, and very old — something people have struggled with long before modern life, long before the internet, long before antibiotics and exhaustion. What you’re feeling is not a failure of faith. It’s a collision between your spiritual awareness and your human limits.. Your tiredness right now is real, not a moral weakness.
When the body is exhausted, the mind and the spirit feel it too. You’ve been sick; you’ve been dizzy; you’ve been anxious; you’ve been drained. That kind of fatigue doesn’t just make you want to stay home — it makes everything feel heavier. Even simple things like eating or stepping outside can feel like climbing a mountain.
This is not laziness. This is not lack of will. This is your body asking for recovery. When the body is weak, prayer becomes harder. Concentration becomes harder. Even desire becomes weaker. That’s not a spiritual failure — it’s a human condition.
Your awareness of God doesn’t disappear just because you pray less. You said something very important: you know God, His Creation, the role of humanity, the meaning of life. This awareness is not erased because you don’t pray one hour a day. Faith is not measured in minutes. It’s measured in sincerity. Some people pray long prayers with empty hearts. Some people pray one sentence with truth. Which one do you think God values more?
Feeling you “should” pray more is not a sign of guilt — it’s a sign of longing. The fact that you want to pray more, that you wish you could give more time, that you feel the distance — that already shows your heart is alive. People who are spiritually dead don’t feel this. They don’t care. They don’t even notice. Your awareness is not a burden. It’s a sign of life.
You are not responsible for the spiritual journey of the whole world. You asked: “If I, with awareness, pray so little… what can be expected from those who don’t have this awareness?”This is a beautiful question [🌹] , but it carries a hidden weight you don’t need to carry. You are not the measure of others. You are not the judge of others. You are not the example for the whole world.
Every soul has its own path; its own timing; its own struggles. Your journey is yours. Their journey is theirs. And God is patient with all of us.
Your desire to go to a monastery is not laziness — it’s longing for support. When someone is tired, they lean on others. When someone is weak, they ask for help. When someone is spiritually dry, they seek a place where prayer is strong.
This is not laziness. This is humility.
