I Wish I’d Failed my Driving Test!
In my late teens all my friends had cars. To put it bluntly, every single one of them drove rather dangerously and crashed multiple times. I don’t know how they all survived that period, but the worst that happened was a broken kneecap.

I have always found it fascinating how slang words appear from nowhere and become part of our common language. The term ‘Karen,’ or to put it in the correct context; ‘Oh God, she’s being a Karen!’ is one that seems both funny and offensive at the same time.

I Wanted to Be Vegan
After leaving home, I began toying with the idea of becoming a vegan. But having lived alongside a carnivorous family, the industrial breeding and destruction of innocent animals just didn’t seem to register enough in my psyche to warrant a big effort. After all, who doesn’t love the smell of bacon.
