On 20 October 2022, the UK’s Prime Minister Liz Truss announced her resignation from office. Having been appointed to the role on 6 September 2022, Truss had only served 44 days in office before announcing her decision to leave 10 Downing Street.
With the world in mourning at the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, the initial grief will soon give way to nostalgia and a desire to look back at past happenings. There is no doubt that this tragic incident will create a somewhat renewed interest in the monarchy.

21 years ago today, the world bore witness to one of the most tragic events in history. Almost 3000 people lost their lives and over 25,000 people were injured during the heinous 9/11 attacks.
In the world of music, competition is rife. Be it bands, record labels or artists, there is always one entity striving to do better than the rest of their contemporaries. Even musicians who once worked alongside each other in the past may end up competing with one another somewhere down the line.
On 8 September 2022 at 6.30 PM UK time, the world was given the somber news that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II had passed away. Having reigned as Queen since 1952, Queen Elizabeth was the UK's longest reigning monarch and one of the oldest Heads of State in history.

The British Monarchy has been in existence since 1066 and is arguably the most recognisable royal family in the world today. While the current generation of royals are universally known, there exists a near thousand-year history behind them that has sometimes fallen by the wayside.
Aside from being an era of amazing music, the 60s-70s marked the rise of many prominent musical families. The Jacksons, Osmonds, and the Wilson brothers of the Beach Boys were just a few families to have come out of that irreplaceable era.
The thought of surgery is always a daunting prospect. Whether major or minor, cosmetic or reconstructive, going under the knife is never something to take lightly. That being said, we certainly have it better nowadays than a few hundred years ago.
