Memory Snapshot: An Inconvenient Time For Sausage and Sex
Memory Snapshot: Inconvenient time for sausage and sex The energy on January 18, 2025 felt strange. No one in the department knew it, but it was the anniversary of my company’s start date. I celebrate it every year because I’ll always be proud that I went a different path than traditional. I was scheduled for one demo in meat department from 11-3 during the store’s tasting event. As I rolled my stand over to the product area, Elias stood there leveling lunch meat and cheese. I really didn’t want to say hi but because friendliness is basically my default setting, I did without thought. Plus, he was already looking at me as if he was waiting for me to break the ice.

Memory Snapshot: Inner Core Wound Triggered
Memory Snapshot: Inner Core Wound Triggered (Draft version) Friday February 21, 2025 I arrive to work super excited for work today. It’s approximately 2:55 p.m. when I’m due in at 3 p.m. I head back to the meat department to do my demo. As I enter the locker, I’m surprised to see no one in the locker except an older meat cutter who is finishing cleaning the locker. I greet him and he says: I’m glad to see you. Which coming from him it felt like performance.

Rachel Platten is Creating Waves and a Movement with Sophomore Album
Following graduating college, I had stars in my eyes. I was hellbent on becoming a publicist. I've always been fascinated with the celebrity lifestyle but I also saw what a lot of people don't: famous people are people too. They don't struggle day to day trying to make end's meet or have the same problems but they are human first and foremost and should have well-rounded people in their corner. I grew up feeling like books and music gave me comfort and a form of escape when the world around me was grey so upon graduating college, I was set on becoming a publicist for an author or musician. Indie or otherwise.
