It wasn’t a goodbye that ruined me,

It was the deafening silence left behind

It wasn’t the fact I was left on read,

It was the fact that they were never read

You vanished like a ghost

Not even a grave site found

If to disappear is to protect me

I’d rather live on the edge of death’s sting

Yet, you didn’t break

Do you have any idea how much your silence broke me?

Sometimes the vanishing is because a part of not really being there to begin with. I've been there and it's painful. But we could never know what joy is without knowing what sadness is. God has great plans for you!❤️
