Artist Life
Money poor but there are other riches
Artist life is money poor,
bank balance grows slowly,
but other perks are huge.
As today morning,
I was making a landscape,
with hills, lake, tree.
My body was obviously at home,
but my soul was there.
I can quench nostalgia
like that, by painting an
art of a mother with daughter.
My night ended
getting a buyer message
about how pleased she was
with the art product,
she made her relative happy,
with the gift.
Morning started
greeted by a buyer message,
of gratitude for a serene art,
that will grace her house.
Artist life is not money-rich,
but opulent in other ways,
one can feel yutori, to ikigai.
