I still remember the moment when a single sentence from the palace changed the tone of a global conversation.

At the time, it seemed simple. Calm. Diplomatic. But looking back now, that moment carried more weight than most people realized.

The phrase was short: “Recollections may vary.”

Those three words, released in response to claims and stories surrounding Prince Harry and Meghan, felt like a quiet thunderclap across the world. It was polite, restrained, and very much in the style of the British monarchy. But to many observers like me, it also felt like a turning point.
